_about
The notebox houses both idea fragments and complete ideas, which I call notes.
This is my official public-facing second brain, which will continue to grow and develop for [hopefully] decades to come.
Why?
Kudos First!
First of all, all credit to Hags for the engineering! I’m just the visionary, and he’s a wizard who takes every single idea I bring to him and makes it real… and often better than I imagined. Thank you x1000000 Hags!!
Ok So Why?
This is my life’s work! At least, it’s the roots of it. I think deeply and expansively, synthesizing massive amounts of information over long periods of time. I’ve been holding all of that privately, but learned that it’s meant to be experienced as-is.
As an artist, the artifacts (the “art” or “artworks”) I make are more or less meaningless to me after I’ve made them. I make as a means of processing reality and reorienting toward Truth. It’s sacred interpolation. It’s one way I talk to God. Making art is a way of creating a safe space to connect with yourself, and I’ve discovered that when I choose to start making, this is an act of divine surrender. It’s a bit careless to make art when so much needs to be done, you know? I have a trillion reasons to talk myself out of it. But I don’t. Being an artist is rebelling against the inner tyrant by embracing them as their partner-in-chaos. An artist is what I become whenever I allow myself to fully engage in the organic unfoldment of what within me seeks the sunlight.
So, that was a mic drop. 🎤
